Supplement Disclaimer

Last updated: August 30, 2026

The supplement tracker in Minimal Platter is a record-keeping tool. It tells you what you said you take and whether you have marked it off. It does not tell you what to take.

Informational only

Anything the app shows about a supplement — its name, the amount you entered, the schedule, any description it derives from your text — is information you supplied or an automated reading of it. It is presented so you can keep track. It is not health advice and it is not a recommendation to take anything.

Not a dosage recommendation

The app never recommends a dose, a frequency, a combination, or a duration. The amounts and schedules you see are the ones you entered. If the app misreads what you typed, the figure shown will be wrong, so check your entries against the product label. Appropriate dosing depends on your age, weight, health, medication, and diet, and only a qualified professional can judge it for you.

Not evaluated by a medicines regulator

Supplements are generally sold as food products rather than medicines. Nothing in this app has been reviewed, approved, or evaluated by any medicines regulator, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Regulatory status varies by country, as does what may legally be sold and claimed.

Interactions and safety are not checked

The app does not screen for interactions between supplements, between a supplement and a medicine, or between a supplement and a condition. It does not warn about upper limits, contraindications, or pregnancy. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, stacking, or changing the amount of anything — especially if you take prescription medication or have a diagnosed condition.

Reminders are not a safety net

Reminders depend on your device: battery optimisation, a restart, a permission change, or the system stopping the app can all delay or drop a notification. Do not rely on Minimal Platter as the only prompt for anything that matters medically. Prescription medicine belongs in a system your clinician approves of, not in a food log.

Your responsibility

You decide what you take. We are not responsible for outcomes that follow from what the tracker displays. Related reading: the health and medical disclaimer and the Terms of Use.
